French Vocab Drill respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your choices when using the app.
French Vocab Drill does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, or other personal information.
Your learning progress and app settings are stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your study data.
French Vocab Drill offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions (billed monthly, every three months, or yearly) that unlock all vocabulary, conjugation, and listening modules. Customers who previously made the earlier one-time unlock purchase keep full access at no additional cost.
Payments are securely processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card information.
To manage subscriptions and determine what content you are entitled to, we use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service that processes purchase information on our behalf. The information handled for this purpose includes:

French Vocab Drill does not display advertisements inside the app.
We advertise the app on Instagram and Facebook. Starting with version 1.3, the app includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK so we can measure which of those ads lead people to install and use the app, and so Meta can show our ads to people likely to find them useful. The Meta SDK may collect:
This information is sent to Meta Platforms, Inc., which may combine it with other information it holds about you, including from your Facebook or Instagram account, and use it as described in Meta's Privacy Policy at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/. We receive only aggregated reports, such as how many installs an ad produced, not information that identifies you.
Your learning progress, study history, and settings are never sent to Meta.
On iPhone, the app asks for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before the Meta SDK can access your advertising identifier. If you tap "Ask App Not to Track", the advertising identifier is not shared, and Meta receives only limited, aggregated install information through Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork.
You can change this choice at any time in your iPhone's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. You can also manage how Meta uses your information for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Purchase and subscription information is shared only as necessary with Apple and with RevenueCat to provide and manage in-app purchase functionality. RevenueCat's handling of this data is described in its privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy/.
App usage and advertising measurement information is shared with Meta as described in "Advertising Measurement (Meta)" above.
